POST OP day 7

Best day post op so far!  first off, the weather is awesome, love the nonthick coat weather, and tomorrow's supposed to be even warmer! would love to go outside just to the playground in the front of my building for some fresh air.  But at a time when there aren't many kids around, don't wanna look like a creeper.  Despite last night's knee nodule situation, and waking up at 2am, PT session was the best ever!  The sharp bouts of pain have subsided, more movement, and the hilite was that I did many revolutions pedalling forward on the stationary bike!  Kim and I figured out that i need to massage that tender part of my knee before doing any exercises, or even just to get out of bed.  We're assuming it's buildup of fluids from the gracilis.  We made up the story that the gracilis didn't wanna be messed with in the first place, so this is her way of getting back at the world.  gracilis is a "she" because I figured she could go by "gracie."  I added a whole new slew of exercises to my regime that will increase my hip strength.  Kim gave me the okay to use the stationary bike whenever i want, woohoo!

Mom came back to "babysit" me for the next 2 days, she's already set up her "bedroom" in the den.  She's tried to do her best to stay occupied by watching Maury, jeopardy, american idol, and playing with her Ipad (she loves solitaire).  that's in between the time she's in the kitchen whipping up enough food to serve a small village, even though it's just us 2.  In the afternoon while waiting for Purv, Clueless was on!  I attempted to take a mini nap til she got here.  When Purv arrived, we planted ourselves on my bed and watched the 2nd season of laguna beach.  Mini food brakes were taken here and there.  Of course Diony asked Purv about samosas. She said her ba (grandma) made them from scratch!  In my head in thought, "big mistake...HUGE" (to purv's response to mom).  Back to Laguna Beach- we got so into the series that she even considered missing her kickboxing class that she already RSVP'd for!  But we fought it and she went to her class while i stayed CPM-ing at 110 degrees.  That's the max that it goes so i'll be at that for the next week!
finally made it to the max setting!
BTW, dad texted me a pic of his blood pressure reading at the local grocery store: 118/83.  what a one-upper!  but props to him because he just joined LA fitness.  His new thing is aqua aerobics, who woulda thunk it?  So proud of you, dad!
